early season is a pristine time for fly fishing
for trout and Arctic grayling, beginner to
expert. Streams are crystal clear and free of
migrating salmon. The trout & grayling are
biting unhindered on natural insect patterns and
outgoing fry & smolt patterns. This is a
great time for fishing with dry flies. King
salmon are just starting up the lower estuary
waters of the Nushagak River. This is a big
river, and drift fishing with fly, spin, or
troll rods from our boats makes for a fun day.
And, a day fishing for northern pike is great
sport!! Long warm, sunny days great fishing,
fond memories . . . a great family
outing.
